最直白的原因还是德国兵力太分散了，拿下斯大林格勒，再进取高加索也不迟的，南方集团军群行动的同时，中央和北方没协同，这样就成了孤军，孤军顿兵坚城之下，周围没有友军部队呼应，没有后备兵力的情况下，到了冬季，基本悲剧是注定的。
